Welcome To The New Hair Transplant Docs Official Blog

Monday, March 30th, 2009 by admin

Hair Transplant Docs (HTD) was originally created in March of 2002, so we thought it fitting to unveil it’s new look during the same month nearly 7 years later. So what is Hair Transplant Docs? What does it do?

htdpagesHair Transplant Docs is a consumer website created to empower hair loss sufferers and prospective hair transplant patients with the most up-to-date, detailed information on the world’s most honored, and elite hair restoration surgeons. Searching through the surgeon pages you will find information on where they went to school, their medical license number, their areas of expertise and much more.

As one of the longest running hair transplant surgeon sites on the net, we understand the importance of providing prospective hair transplant patients with honest, detailed and accurate information to help them make informed decisions. In addition to what we already provide, we have added something new to HTD, Patient Reviews.

Understanding the need for consumer insight, we have created an area underneath each surgeon profile where a current/former patient of the surgeon can leave his/her thoughts regarding their experience with the doctor who performed their surgery. Patient reviews help other prospective patients know what to expect when having surgery with a particular doctor. We know this is going to be a huge asset to the hair restoration community. We also know that there are some evil spirited folks in the world who have nothing better to do than to leave nasty comments, simply for the sake of it.  Users must remains professional at all times and not engage in any type of character assassination. Constructive reviews are welcome, but reviews left with clear ulterior motives will be promptly removed and the user account and IP will be banned from the site. Please be aware that you may be contacted for more information regarding your review. Due to the nature of the internet and the online history of some of the less than ethical members of the hair loss industry, it is imperative for our staff to  check the validity of reviews whether they are good, bad or indifferent.

This new hair transplant blog will keep you up-to-date on the latest news and happenings in hair restoration and hair loss, so be sure to subscribe to our feed.

If there is a feature you think would be helpful, or another field of information you would like see added about the surgeon listed on Hair Transplant Docs, please sent us an email via our contact form.
