The NeoGraft FUE Hair Transplant Machine
On March 15th 2009, IAHRS Member Alan Bauman M.D. announced his commitment to the use the NeoGraft Follicular Unit Extraction machine to a worldwide audience on Spencer Kobren's The Bald Truth. North American hair transplant surgeons have been performing Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), the targeted removal of follicular unit grafts without the use of a scalpel, as an adjunct to hair transplant procedures since the year 2001. While the procedure has it's critics, there are those who believe that if performed correctly with a consistent protocol, this techniques can benefit hair loss sufferers around the globe. Dr. Alan Bauman is one of those believers who thinks that the NeoGraft device might help to eliminate some of the inherent problems that surround this extremely labor-intensive and highly skill reliant procedure. Will The NeoGraft change the way state of the art hair transplantation is performed? Will this machine help to make FUE more cost effective for the hair loss consumer? See IAHRS Member Alan Bauman, MD discuss the NeoGraft device and it’s possible role in today’s state of the art hair transplantation. Here:
